The science behind LeafGuard:  Water is made up of two hydrogen molecules and one oxygen molecule, the  oxygen in the water has a negative charge and the hydrogen has a positive charge. The hydrogen molecules of one water molecule are attracted to the oxygen from other water molecules. This attractive force is what gives water its adhesive properties and causes it to adhere to itself. The LeafGuard gutter protection system's unique curved design employs gravity to speed water transfer over the edge of the system into the gutter. As the water curves back towards the gutter, the debris from the roof are shed and fall away from the LeafGuard and not into the gutter.
